Art Director & Designer
If you had asked 6-year-old me what my favorite animal was, I would’ve told you it was a pincher bug. It was a creative answer; a brave answer. During recess, I would hunt down the pincher bugs of the schoolyard, daring them to pinch me as I reached out for their tiny claws. They were fascinating creatures.
I haven’t become any less curious, determined, or detail-oriented since then. Although, I must regretfully admit that my favorite animal is no longer a pincher bug.
the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
Clara Speckhart is an art director and creative strategist currently studying at Miami Ad School Europe in Berlin. She earned her BFA in Advertising from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where she developed a strong foundation in branding, design, and creative problem-solving.
With a background in photography and painting, Clara brings a visually driven perspective to her work. She started as a copywriter but quickly realized her passion for art direction, embracing the challenge of stepping into a more visual, conceptual role. This ability to adapt and push creative boundaries defines her approach to advertising.
Clara has collaborated on projects with brands like Adobe and Gravity Sketch, winning multiple awards for her strategic and design work. She thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments where ideas flow freely, and creativity drives impact. She believes advertising should do more than sell: it should inspire, connect, and challenge perspectives.
When she’s not designing, you can find her exploring Berlin’s art and fashion scene, collecting vintage design books and posters, or resisting the urge to buy a new house plant.
